Here Are Those Catholic Marketing Tips You Asked For
Subscribe for actionable insights, tools, and examples to elevate your Catholic marketing efforts—and maybe even find a community!
Hello, world.
Hi! I’m the Catholic Marketer.
Thanks for getting this far. Keep reading to decide if you want to keep reading even more.
Who is this for?
You! Well, it’s for you if any of the following apply to you:
You’re a marketer.
You’re in need of marketing.
You like trying new products/services/websites related to marketing and associated online stuff.
You’re Catholic.*
*not a requirement by any means, but you’ll have to be OK with an undercurrent of Catholicism!
In looking at those criteria, there are a lot of people in those categories. Hopefully you’re still with me and ready to hit the subscribe button. Now’s your chance!
Why am I doing this and what can you expect?
With 20 (!) years of non-profit marketing experience and a decade of those in the trenches at Catholic organizations, I have a lot of experience and advice to share.
I’m subscribed to so many newsletters and social accounts that share new tools, examples, and useful articles, so this is a great way to force me to engage with them and share any gold I find in my online travels.
How often will I haunt your inbox?
That remains to be seen. One of my toxic traits is starting new endeavors like this and letting them fall by the wayside after a month or so. I hope that doesn’t happen here, but if you’re reading this and the newsletter only has two posts from more than six months ago, I think we can all see what happened.
All that said, I’m hopeful to at least provide one email per week. I’m going to keep it short and sweet to start so that I can stick with it.
What do I want from you?
While marketing is inherently a competitive sport, Catholic marketers are ultimately all on the same team and hopefully our efforts are all pointed in the same direction—above.
Substack has a great community of active writers, so I would love to connect with others on this platform and beyond who like to geek out about using marketing and communications skills for the glory of God.
That means it would be great if you replied to my posts with comments or email replies that keep the conversation going! I’d love to get your feedback and your recommendations on tools that you find useful or great marketing examples you see in the wild.
